The
Vancouver InterPride Conference
Society welcomed
InterPride and LGBT Pride organizers from
around the world October 23-26, 2008. We opened
our city, community, history and our
future to these visitors and we shared, learnt and
experienced each other.
The InterPride AGM will provided networking
opportunities, knowledge
enhancement, social, cultural and
international awareness of Pride
everywhere. The InterPride
conference provided topical,
relevant information for hosting
Pride events. We had valuable workshops, exciting
speakers, talented performers and a
weekend packed full of adventure.
We're created the world class InterPride
Conference you've dreamed of!
Any organization that produces LGBT
events for their greater community
as one of its purposes or activities
is welcome to attend an InterPride
Conference. We welcome Pride
organizations that are developing or
grass roots focused, mid sized
groups that are growing in size and
large, well established Prides.
Pride events include a
parade, march, rally, festival, arts
show, cultural activity, sporting
tournament or other
event/activity organized for people
identifying as Lesbian, Gay,
Bisexual, Queer, Transgender, Intersex,
Two Spirited, Questioning
and/or other emerging sexual
identities.
